Rafting
Discover our fantastic landscape from the water ! The Isère river is one of the most beautiful rivers in the Tarentaise region with a thrilling descent down to the rapids of Aime, all with unusual names like the ‘dining room’, the ‘ham cutting machine’, the’ dessert’, and the ‘jump of the Maid’. You will also experience the magnificent gorges of Centron.
The course descends for 24 km between Bourg Saint Maurice and Centron, and you will be accompanied by a state-certified guide to ensure your complete safety !!!
Children aged 8 years old and above can book on the Discovery course and those 12 and over are eligible for the other rafting descents.
- Centron Gorges Descent (1 hour on the water and 2 hours in total)
This is an introduction to rafting and the first thrills of white water on a 7km descent of the Gorges de Centron! This is a descent of pure joy, an incredible baptism into the thrills of white water rafting. It’s the perfect choice for a first time rafting experience. If you can swim, don’t think twice come and navigate in the heart of the river away from homes and the road.
- Family descent (1 hour on the water and 2 hours in total)
On this course you head down the Gorges with your family, on a 7 km adventure between Aime and Centron. This activity is only available to families of 2 adults and 1 child.
- "Rapides" Descent - Isère (1h30 on the water and 2h30 in total)
This is a 16km rafting descent from Bourg Saint-Maurice to Aime or from Bellentre to Centron depending on the timetable chosen. It includes the obligatory passage of the Rapids of Aime, and all the thrills and sensations that come with them !
- Descent Prestige - Isère (2 hours on the water and 3 hours in total)
This 23km prestige rafting trip goes from Bourg Saint-Maurice to Centron! It is the full version of the descent with photos and videos included in the price. Our guides will take pictures and videos during the descent to provide you with unique memories of this sensational activity!
- Integral Rafting - Isère (2 hours on the water and 3 hours in total)
Navigate the longest rafting descent in France : 23km of excitement! Travelling from Bourg Saint-Maurice to Centron you will discover the Rapids of Aime and the sublime Gorges of Centron!
- Mini-Raft (private boat) New option
This is a new way to discover the Isère river with your friends! On a 4 person mini raft, you will be accompanied by a state-certified guide who will introduce you to the raft and all the new sensations you will experience ! Even with this small boat the 3 descents are accessible to you: discovery descent of the Centron Gorges (7km), sport descent (16km), full descent (23km)

- Arrive 15 minutes before departure time at the AN Rafting base.
